fader8 productions is a very tight collaboration of independent talent specializing in the creation of original and effective audio content for any media. Randall Thomas A diverse career spanning 3 decades, Randall started as a sound designer for equity summer stock theater. After getting a proper education, he worked as a professional recording engineer with a major east coast remote facility. Some of the clients include NPR, BBC, DIR Broadcasting, NBC Television, CBS Television and HBO. Randall has worked in an engineering capacity for feature films, television and album production with such luminaries as The Paul Winter Consort, Gerry Mulligan, Billy Taylor, Miles Davis, Pat Metheny, Eddie Gomez, Steve Gadd, Paul Simon, Burton Cummings, The Grateful Dead, Gerry Garcia Band, Pretenders, Styx, Hall & Oates, Cherry Hill Gang, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Johnny Paycheck, among others. From recording engineering, Randall went into sound system and acoustical design. After working in sound reinforcement system design, several years was spent doing product development work for an industrial loudspeaker product line. He designed voice communication and emergency voice alarm/evacuation systems for clients such as Philips Petroleum, Willamette Paper, Formosa Plastics, General Electric, Arco and Occidental Petroleum as well as several nuclear power facilities and offshore oil & gas production platforms. In 2001, Randall Thomas was nominated for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award after developing a high technology startup firm that was awarded Ben Franklin Technology's Challenge Grant 3 years running. The events of September 11th, 2001 forced a change and Randall augmented his education and later formed fader8 productions to provide high quality, creative audio content for new and unusual media. Randall earned his BA in Communications from Elizabethtown College and extensively studied recording engineering, audio and music production at Berklee College of Music and the Eastman School of Music. His experience and education combines to provide a unique skillset in producing audio content for everything from entertainment and advertising to telephony, industrial applications, OEM products, software and web based content. Peter Schwartz Since 1986, Peter Schwartz has enjoyed an eclectic career as composer, orchestrator, arranger, musical director, and keyboardist. Peter's extensive experience includes national spots for Ford and Chevrolet and as a staple session musician in the New York City studio scene. Accumulating hundreds of album and remix credits as a keyboard player and synthesizer programmer, Peter has worked for everyone from the legendary Phil Ramone to Grammy-winning remixers David Morales and Shep Pettibone. His later experience includes promotional and world tours as Musical Director for the likes of David Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, Enya, Madonna, and Cher, to name just a few. Recently, Peter has been concentrating his musical endeavors as a composer for film and television, forming a filmography that includes such clients as Disney, Warner Bros. and Fox TV. He has also done extensive embedded system sound design work for Korg synthesizers and others. He is a graduate of the prestigious Manhattan School of Music.

Dave Gross For over twenty-five years, Dave Gross, (Helldog Music) has provided sound design, composition, user interface sound effects, and audio production to clients in the advertising, audio/video production, and multi-media industries. His career began as a live musician in Florida, backed by music composition and production for both TV/Radio commercials and Production Libraries. For the past 12 years, Dave has worked extensively with Microsoft’s in-house production facility MS Studios as an authorized Audio Post Production mix engineer, sound designer and composer, creating UI sounds for the Microsoft SmartPhone, Pocket PC, and Microsoft Office Entourage for Mac, as well as composing music for a variety of uses such as MSN promotions with Dove, LeBron James, and Caress Soap. His company's clients have spanned the globe, ranging from Microsoft, Step Reebok Aerobics, Boeing, the NBA on TNT, Fox Promotions, and CNN International, to Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and Nordstrom; production libraries currently include Abaco, SoundRangers.com and MyMusicSource.com.
